What We Are About

The Brad Hennefer Golf for Life Foundation is a 
non-profit organization that was inspired by the golf 
accomplishments of Brad Hennefer, a young man who 
has Down Syndrome and has been playing golf for 
almost his entire life.  Brad works closely with a PGA 
Professional, Dick Smith, Jr., who has donated his time 
and talents over the years.  Brad is now able to 
independently play eighteen holes of golf and 
participates on his high school golf team.

Our goal is to facilitate a network of regional and 
national golf instruction programs, clinics and 
competitions exclusively for individuals who have 
Down Syndrome.  We are collaborating with the 
National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) and the 
Philadelphia Section of the Professional Golfers' 
Association of America (PGA).

Brad Hennefer

Brad Hennefer is the only person with down Syndrome to be inducted into the Cherry Hill High School East Hall of Fame.
